The Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health - Mindanao Cluster, Central Mindanao University (CMU)
Is a member of VYLH Philippines a network of leaders from different youth organizations based in colleges, universities and communities in the Philippines, and is tasked to participate to the Third National Rare Disease Week on February 23 to 29, with a campaign “Schools-for-Rare (Care for Rare)”, The said activity is one of our newest campaigns under our advocacy of gathering public support for Filipino rare disorder patients. Overall, the campaign is in support of this year’s call for solidarity through the theme “Rare but strong together”.

In connection with the said activity the Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health - Mindanao Cluster, Central Mindanao University (CMU) is happy to present to you the activity report conducted during the Third National Rare Disease Week.

Giving the students an avenue to gain knowledge about Rare Disease and Newborn Screening, and express their help thru signing the Rare Disease Act of the Philippines.
